Cycle

Apple pies and
Butterflies
Sit on my window sill.

One of them is eaten,
The other is beaten,
Both returning still.

No matter the deal
They will always heal,
These are things you cannot kill.

So I close the blind,
And leave them behind,
To pick up my parchment and quill.

Engraved

May life guide you,
May happiness find you,
May friends be with you,
Let eternity echoe your name.

May God provide for you,
May hope inspire you,
May the sun shine on you,
I'm sorry I caused you pain.

May destiny find you,
May love blind you,
May autumn blossom on you,
My life wont be the same.

You stole my heart,
You became my friend,
Here forever,
Just call my name.

The Lost Soul

Each thought an echo of insanity,
Each touch a draw of blood,
A heathen without a fire,
My world is falling apart.

In this confinement, I seek for sanity,
Drugs, sex and fame,
What happened to the trinity?
Taking time out to reminisce,
Recuperate and face this test.

My past, alas,
a grievance so near,
With each reverie,
a world still concealed.
