Self-reflecting Poems and Poetry

The Golden Vile

So this is it/
One life to live/
Never backdown/
But will the effort pay off?/

So strap this barbwire around my wrists/
This hurts less before the stare you gave me/
I apologize, I apologize/
I remember how we always talked/
And we said that we would sit eachother down and hear ourselves/

I can't paint you a picture if you take away my paint/
Why did you take away my paint?/
"Because I can. Because I wanted too" She replied/
So I take some of her paint/
She looked at me/
With no fear in her eyes/
And she said "And now, I draw your blood"/

This is one giant puzzle/
