Tidying the messes of yesterday
Spilled sprite on carpet threads
Soaked up by yesterday’s towel
That was used after my sudden shower
And tossed aside
Kneel next to my bed, looking for my shoes,
Look who’s under there,
Bruce Willis makes me sneeze
his bald head
collecting sprigs of cinnamon
shiny
dust collecting
collection of string, recollect-
tion
of time spent wondering
if anyone cares about dust mites
or wrapped mattresses without tags
