Lens Flare

Shake you from reality
shake you, make you fall apart
in pieces-
pieces falling
crashing
banging
losing sight
of where you touched me, held me, loved me.

Dreamed me.

Time collided in that space for moments
we were zoned together
knowing
that the moment had no time in space
or love
or even during sleep it’s real
in
time.

I wake to life and in the mirror,
steam prevents (her)
 from seeing me
and you.
(And her)

And as I wipe the mirror,
clouded, still
but right behind
me
you..
my eyelids
close.
And then,

My face retreats
of blending still
 into the steam,
and slowly fading
being pulled into
the mirror
or back in time
as time envelops

me.
