PLASTIC PEOPLE

In truth, we longed to be saved
we can protect rain forest,
cared the animals
even affects the whole world
but in truth,
we can never save our 'self'

That’s why probably we tried to cover our body
so feverishly in a plastic or silicon’s shells,
in order for us to avoid the hurt and pain
because there will be no one who can save us in the end
No one

Don't you know?
From the very beginning we have already been weak
no matter how much shield one’s tried to build
we were already helplessly vulnerable from the day we were born,
because humans were never meant to live in this world alone
No one can live in this world alone

Today the plastic people walked the land
they closed their eyes to search in vain
a missing part somewhere in their heart,
that’s why today the plastic people forgot
their true faces behind those delicately fancy cut
because in truth is in these simple words
all of us are longing to be saved
