Ironic Perception

As my body pH ages
And my neuro-connectors put on coats
I join the portal realm
into your dreams
this time.
(Instead of you
joining mine).

After I send you to the end of my last dream
I appear in your mind
duplicate
Doppleganger
that laughs at your
present naked body,
on the bed of
smashed
peas.
Vulnerable,
Where millions of birds
in this forest fly over,
awaiting to spill
more.

And I reply,
"This is you, not me.
I'm not responsible
for your expectations."

I tie you to the bed
with wet leather bands,
and then dress my original
copy in vinyl,
while saying,
"It's your turn to change,"
tapping the whip
in my hand.
"Perception is everything."
