I sat there.
Reading his profile.
Daydreaming about being with him.
Hoping he'd notice my comments,
be that active & seek me out.
Notice my posts.
Pay attention to me in great detail.
But I knew that was all in my head.
No one notices a passive person
who doesn't directly go
after their passions
or make contact.
Who sits on a fence
daydreaming.
No one notices.
Until he messages me asking me to his b-day party...
Hoping I'll ditch Speedway
& telling me
how he had been paying attention
for a long time now.
