They say babies tend to be born
more so when the moon is out.
Like the way it pulls the
Tides
Connected with the breaking, crashing water.

Well, everyday a new love is born in me
The moon breaks the tears
from my eyes
pulling them to the ground, if they can.
Or if not, I hide them from
outside evidence,
by letting them
land on my
chest.

The tears come when I think of you the most
when I need to call you
but can't
to respect your sleep.

Always when I need you the most.
My brain never catches up
because I'm a head
full of water
controlled by the moon.

While you're a heart full of fire
controlled by the sun.

I like how this managed to

I like how this managed to come back to tides and the moon. The juxtaposition of sun and moon is nice too. But what I really like is the first stanza - it almost stands up as a poem in its own right.
