Debut

there is a spring in late winter's step
a hopeful bit of energy residing
and ever fighting containment
afraid of the fall from summer's heat
as four seasons try desperately
to coexist; each with its own agenda
and fade gracefully in to the backdrop
as the other takes center stage
each thinking he is the star
