Take Flight

I’ve run our encounter
Through my mind
Hundreds of times now
The soft kiss
Your tongue
Passionately dancing
Over mine
Hands
Searching for
Something to hold onto
In a moment that
We know as destiny
A cinematic fall
To the bed
Clothing falling away easily
Led weights to the floor
Sweat beading on our skin
Not from exertion
But only a desire that’s burned
Unquenched
As two souls
Take flight
Where only
Poets dream

gah
magic
gah
Thank you very much!
ahhhhh
A cinematic fall
To the bed
Classic! the last stanza is a solid clencher of an ending too. You're really growing on me. (the words, of course, not you personally..hehe).
Ahhhh
Hey now! I'm totally cool being a fungi, growing on people etc. If there is a 'personal attachment' to the work then I have done my job all the more eloquently for I have shared an experience with you. At least thats the way I look at it. By the way, I held onto that email you sent about three years ago now...you reached out to me as a friend. I will never forget that. Thank you.
any time
No need to thank me. It's fine to look me up via email any time...
any time
yeah, I was in a bad spot and without 'knowing' me you let me know that you were there to talk if I needed. That made a heck of an impression on me and I appreciate that.
well
I'm just glad the bad spot is behind you and the offer stands...
