tired of the tides
and the poetry
some nights
washes over
me, silently
aggrevating
situation aft-
er situation
and up and
down the
ship, the
boat, the
raft if you
will, the
tide has
caused
people
to slip
and slide
into the depths
where sea creatures
and mermaids alike reside,
pulled out by tides, man-made
articles invade the sea, and it ap-
pears apples sometimes are taken
into the ocean and yet there are no
apple trees on the bottom and as
you're in the tide, being moved by
the tide - by and by - you try to
resist or move of your own ac-
cord but the chords of the
song of life run on their
own and the sounds
occasionally aren't
ones you're famil-
iar with ears to
hear the truth.
the tide pulls and
sometimes you let
yourself go and are
taken away to an-
other place and
the risk is that
you'll be pulled
under, torn as-
under under as
the water piles
on top of you,
plunging you
under as the
current or tides
affect you so far
from the moon
and yet the large
ball of rock still
effects the earth.
tidal forces.
reinforced
courses;
water is
flowing
and just
knowing
is some-
times half
the battle as
the bottle with
a message is taken
away by the tides, never
to be seen again ... unless...
but that is another poem.
