not necessarily
temperate temporarily
merrily facing life and
what it throws at you and
you can see that love is good
and noble and difficult but good
to have - too two - not at all some
times blue to be otherwise would some
day not seem as relevant -

muncie at day
and night -
a day &
a moment -

on campus for most of the day, the office
all a flutter over whether or not i was
showing up. heh. i thought it was an
hour later. sorry. up too late and
not much motivated beyond doing
just what it takes to survive
not wanting to climb the
ladder and step on toes
and fingers - the
static force of the
screen grabs an ash
and sticks it to the
screen - just ask the
director - doctor -
campus art and j
building with an
atrium and the
only one asking
for an internet
connection - i
was able to check
my mail and MUG ;)

trip to the student
publication i'd started
so many years before -
not saying who i was
at first and then 'hi,
i'm the one who started
this in the basement of WQ.'

quite a moment.

short hurried talk with
the professor whom i'd
done some webwork for
who was not being renewed
at the university but
working feverishly on
a book. interesting
thesis.
this is
my day
with other
flash moments
in between ---)
smoking on the second floor
balcony on the walkway that
now connects the T-Com bldg
with the aforementioned a&j
building - workers who were
finishing up the job talking
gruff, smoking, complaining,
and agreeing...
