treat is e-heart

stolen jumps
at the side
of the poemroad

another phrase
borrowed and/or
mimicked; war -
taught to man by
others, along with
fire and metal and
the pain of child
birth and love -
broken and swept
from the garden,
so sweet with no
timeclocks and we
both (as humans)
had to have more
and disobeyed, a
mistake? love,
then is a treat,
raining when you want,
stopping when you want,
complete and total trust,
brain and body and soul -
go forth and from this day
forward may love taunt and
tempt you, reminding of what
once was - broken thoughts and
moments, the war machine thunders
forward, sounding like a thousand
million flying insects of enormous
stature.
the rapture?
show me the
word in the
word, show
me how we
who believe
are so much
better that
we aren't
tested with
love, brought
through the fire,
not skipping that step.

relentless, the world slips forward
and so many are blind to the big
picture, too many cannot hear
the sounds of trumpets
about to appear
here is the
earth in
a stupor,
unsure (most
if not all) of
what is going on
around them, burrowing
into the mountains, as if
hiding in the earth, below
the crust in giant cities
of steel and stone can
protect from Him who
made the molecules
that make the steel
and stone - oh man,
solomon said it is
all vanity, and alas,
i also, seeing here and
not in the timeline the
vanity of which he spoke.
will not these very words
i write now whither whether
or not someone ever reads them?
even now, just digital, not on
trees boiled up to record a
semblance of reality as we
continue on, seemingly,
in midst of another
world wide war,
slowly brewing,
rumors here and
there, a crazed
stupor of rage
racing across
the planet.

love shall return
as the meek rule
the changed face
of the earth, with
what we have now
wiped clean - even so,
come Lord Jesus.
