neighborhood hijinx
a certain class of
people - the other
night for instance
an elderly neighbor
had a drunk in a
small red car some-
how leave the road,
and drive through
back yards, between
a tree and wires and
garage and some-
how trap himself
in her backyard,
timidly knocking
on her back door
for help on how
to get out of
where he was
stuck - drunk

nay bore hood
street lights
and pot holes
a plenty but
again the
older neighbors
are a treat and
we get along
with them...

now, if we could
just cure the
stray dog
problem.
