Nonlinear Time

speaking of the fourth
dimension from whence
pours forth tomes of wisdom
regarding love from decades
hence, relentless and real,
like waves crashing onto
a beach, one after the
other and the moon
controls the ebb
and flow, but
it's constant

anyway, time
as in how it
slows and
occasionally
seems to narrow
while the marrow
in our very bones
becomes brittle with
the constant pressure
of forward time - motion -
objects sent into it continue
into it - and the brain that even
manages to think and comprehend
a bit about time - what kind of mind is
that (i have, then...) again, though,
the liquid-like hesitant nature of
physical matter being affected
by something we cannot touch
and only recently began to count
and notice and know a lot about.

if you lived only two or three days
as we know them on this planet,
would it seem like a lifetime to
us? and what if human beings
managed to tinker and poke
and prod with the inner us
long enough to discover
how to stretch out time
for us? would we be
wiser, a different
race, a different
type of being,
even more-
so than we
are now?

the moon speaks to me.
and the fleas and grass.
freshly mowed or over-
grown. and the Mu &
the moo and the
monkey-like
cage and/
or zoo.

the moon speaks the
language of time, its
celestial body battered
and ravaged by being
exposed to the savage-
ness of the existence in
outer space - the deep
dark expanding burst of
mass / energy. the moon
knows of the earth's origin,
of its first moments. of its
life popping up. of the change
and shift of the continents, the
molten center, the golden core,
the caverns, the man-made see-
able from space creations - before
the modern times. heh. - the vast
stretch of time behind us to the
beginning - beyond the singularity
that even einstein couldn't quite
finish (not that he wasn't plucking
at it, unknowingly being at the verge
of it...) beyond that the moon was
part of the same stuff we rise up
out of, moving around, still
connected
, just not knowing
it fully yet. young beings
blowing through the uni-

verse un-

aware.

daring to
discover the
driving force of
what it means to
be human and alive
at this point in the time-
line.
