slowly dissolving
into the recesses
of my mind.
for the time being,
i'd like to dream.

i float down the street,
blowing me to and fro,
keeping me from finding home.

the summer is gone

the voices that stay
in my head as poems
in my heart as soul

the dark side of the moon
my home for the moment
in my head i swoon
surely you must know it
but if you stay it wouldn't work
my words as life not in a real way

tell the universe to stop
expanding for what use
is there if there isn't us
words not mine float away
