Sad Diamonds

diamonds in the rough
can be found on the moon.

not really, but if you believe
you can sometimes see them
glittering on the surface of the
rock orbiting us.

they contain a world
inside a world and it
seems they never
stop.

sad diamonds shed tears
in weightlessness and they
shower the ceiling in a frenzy
of brilliant sadness.
