the sky

city.

lasers light the sky,
it comes alive with
a sound all around;
picture show with
no substance, no
nourishment.

artificiality
projected,
the remnant,
protected.

imagined versus real,
seen versus unseen,
the scene in the
city is seen
by the sea
(the mass
of people
across
the land
people had
other ideas,
other lusts laced
upon the facade,
which with the
rest will fade.
