She submits in sunlight
Pliant skin and cellular heat
Moist kisses
Leaving temporary landmarks
Flecks of sweat collect
among the soft hairs
of her body
The moments just before contact
are sweetest
An involuntary flinch
A whisper of a gasp echoing
through the canyons
of our combined bodies
Heat rises and spills over her
She is a flower in sunlight
