The cadence of her lullaby
An embrace in sleep
Her tones and inflections
I react
Finding my comfortable place in the sun
The son reunites with Mother
The moments are not lost
Every syllable a soliloquy
For my parched ears
A warm refuge from
Perpetual Winter
The green of her eyes
Like Nature
Like God
Taking me back to the places
That can exist at night
On this pillow

very peaceful, intimate. i
very peaceful, intimate. i especially enjoyed "like Nature"--b/c i associate the color green w/ nature, and the simile enhances the image of her eyes in my imagination. my only concern is that i can't hear the music, the lullaby--perhaps if you put a sound i can attach it to...like bells or a piano maybe?
