touch

your body, glazed with rain
flares

naked by our forest bath

I dip a wash rag
in our red wheel barrow
camping basin
and soak it
in the steaming water

gently
I squeeze
rivulets
across your bare shoulders

and the streams flow
down your chest
over your groin
they shine
on your skin

which tingles

at the prowl
of my hands
softly
spreading
soap
over
and beneath
your breasts

about the curve
of your hips
my fingers
wander
linger
within the inner quietude
of your thighs
your nakedness
quickens my breath

inspired
my soapy body
rubs
against your own
until we slide around
together
wrapped in lathering arms
delighted

slippery as fish
between laughs
and a shudder

you sigh

this is our rhythm
beside the wheel barrow
basin
in these wild woods

my lips
kiss your neck
tenderly
a fire
lit
from your eyes
from the flushed
smile
of your beautiful face

then
we tumble
beneath rainclouds
beside the birch trees

dancing on this soggy earth
