You variable bitch!
Which way shall I take you?
Standing up
or lying down,
or some way yet to be found?
You gigantic joke.
I'll give you
a poke in the ribs,
and try to understand
your glib tongue,
as I climb the rungs
to scale your slippery sides,
and combat
my fear of heights.

this is interesting. It has
this is interesting. It has a distinct rhythm and makes good use of the internal rhymes in the second stanza. The first stanza makes for a good extended euphemism (I like it) - but it loses that sharp playfulness in the second stanza as you move to the final line. Nice contrast between bitterness and fear though.

Thank you for the comments, the further I got into this verse the more happy I was with it.
I started to get into the rhythm method of writing... :)
