perhaps we've arrived at a false knowledge
that our voices will make echoes
even after we are gone.
then we can only hope to free ourselves
within each infinity contained by a moment
when someone we love is full of laughter.
or this angel i touch blushes with ecstasy.
you and i, we know the truth when our eyes connect.
but for now let us binge on each other's mortality.
