blackhole bird's nest

in a future time
in an uncertain place,
the space that occupied
that intersection of all the
elements is etched in my
mind.

perhaps it has
something to do
with not the card-
board sketch you
did so early on, but
the memory of your
intentness as you
gave birth to it in
my apartment -
the concentration,
the passion, and
you say you're not
an artist and maybe
you'll go your whole
life w/out ever crea-
ting again, but deep
down in your soul you
know how to translate
the world to art, you have
that ability, that mindstate.

and in my mind in that

or, escape;

cell by cell
i feel com-
pelled tow-
ard the black-
hole. naked ex-
cept for its effect
on surrounding sp-
ace and most likely
time. no way to tell.
no way phsicially
to travel through
those holes in
space where
the weight of
the universe
is more per
square inch
than anywhere.

time spin

and the world
continues to spin.

intense feelings
dull, get weaker.

the solitude was
palatable in the
rooms - the way
he walked thru
them.

and time is a funny
concept maybe.
unrelenting
moments
slipping
forward.

marooned
on the moon
in june, the hero,
or hapless space-
poet, ponders with
perplexing propensity
continuing sending
messages to the
universe at large
and calling it
poetry.

Sometimes, I feel gravity...

Sometimes,
occasionally,
I feel gravity
pulling me
down more
than normal.

As if a great force,
with the whole uni-
verse behind it is at
one time pushing on
my mind and the verse
-s produced during those
times are usually compact,
dense as stars and as far
away too.
