a different place
a different space
in the timeline, i
slip and slide
forward and
get it out
in words,
looking in-
ward to ward
off the upwards
momentum of falling
toward outer space, of
falling off the planet but i
am in a different place, i
am a different man, i am
the same man in a different
spot of time so changed a
little but still the same man
at heart maybe
wiser hopefully
not as foolhardy
or hardly able to
see through the

blackhole hate

or, escape;

cell by cell
i feel com-
pelled tow-
ard the black-
hole. naked ex-
cept for its effect
on surrounding sp-
ace and most likely
time. no way to tell.
no way phsicially
to travel through
those holes in
space where
the weight of
the universe
is more per
square inch
than anywhere.

blackhole love

out here in the
center of our
galaxy, i'm
left circling
the blackhole
left by her ab-
sence. and it
makes no
sense to
you (or
me) but i
hang on
and circle
the void, the
blackness.

thoughts,
one by one,
are sucked in
by gravity and
soon i'll reach
the event
horizon, the
moment of no
return when the
gravity is too strong
to let even light escape.

time spin

and the world
continues to spin.

intense feelings
dull, get weaker.

the solitude was
palatable in the
rooms - the way
he walked thru
them.

and time is a funny
concept maybe.
unrelenting
moments
slipping
forward.

marooned
on the moon
in june, the hero,
or hapless space-
poet, ponders with
perplexing propensity
continuing sending
messages to the
universe at large
and calling it
poetry.
